Did you know that we are also an IUD Clinic?
Seniors' Week is June 5-11 2017, and is celebrated across the province of Alberta, acknowledging the contribution of seniors to our communities. Whether it's their time, talent or life experience, seniors' contributions are at the heart of many community programs and charitable organizations that improve quality of life for all Albertans.
Join us in celebrating Bragg Creek seniors on June 8 at Care in the Creek Medical Centre. We will have fresh coffee and macarons courtesy of Roast Coffee & Tea (a local Bragg Creek gem!).

MAY is CELIAC AWARENESS MONTH
Celiac is a medical condition where the small intestine is damaged by gluten which leads to a significant reduction in absorption of vital nutrients. People with Celiacs are at risk for many other conditions including anemia, osteoporosis and certain liver abnormalities. Symptoms of this condition include abdominal bloating, inconsistent bowel movements and abdominal pain. In Canada, this condition is considered to be underdiagnosed. Many people suffering from similar symptoms restrict gluten in their diet. The underlying cause of their condition however remains undiagnosed. It is important to know if it is Celiacs because of the risk for other conditions. There is no cure for Celiacs, but there are tests to diagnose this condition and ways to control it. If you suffer from symptoms as described above, don’t hesitate any longer. You should be tested. Come and discuss this with your family physician at Care in The Creek Medical Centre. If you do not have a family physician, DR. ANNELIES NOORDMAN, is accepting new patients. Call 403-949-2457 today to book your appointment. |
