APRIL is CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Every April, volunteers with the Canadian Cancer Society sell daffodils to raise money for the fight against cancer. In 2016, 6,500 Albertans died from cancer while 18,400 Albertans were diagnosed with a cancer. Lung, breast, colorectal and prostate cancer are the most common cancers. Did you know there are ways to lower your risk and to screen for these cancers?
