Dr. Annelies NoordmanBorn and raised in a small town in northern part of the Netherlands, Dr. Annelies Noordman studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam, graduating in 2002. She worked for 6 months in a long-term care facility, then studied family medicine at the University of Groningen, graduating in 2005. Attracted by the big open spaces and outdoor activities that Canada offered, Dr. Annelies and her family moved to Grande Cache in 2008. She loved working in a small town setting and gained valuable experience in rural medicine during the five years she spent there.
Between 2013 and late 2016 Dr. Annelies worked in a Calgary practice, before moving to the Care in the Creek Medical Centre in the Bragg Creek Hamlet. She has a wide interest in family medicine. She believes in the continuity of medical care and supports the role a medical team has to play in delivering the best possible patient care. She likes to get to know her patients and believes this is done by maintaining an open relationship; working together to obtain maximum health and well being. Dr. Annelies lives in Bragg Creek with her husband, two sons, a daughter and their beloved family dog. They enjoy an active lifestyle and are often spotted hiking, biking or cross country skiing in the beautiful Kananaskis countryside. |
